School Staff

Our staff at Asoka World School is our biggest strength. We have over 20 staff, consisting of teaching, non teaching, support and administrative staff. Our teachers are graduates and postgraduates in their subjects with teaching degrees. They are well equipped with technology, respectful of different cultures, bring about innovative ideas and believe in fairness worldwide. Simply put, they are passionate about teaching.

All staff must take part in compulsory training sessions. These include programs run by CBSE and other external sessions arranged by our corporate partners. Every academic year, these cover various topics that help build a better teaching environment.

The training plan made at the start of the year may change based on external invitations and current needs. As employers, we offer guidance, supervision, peer mentoring, and helpful feedback to support our staff in our technology-focused education system. We’re all about creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels included and valued. We prioritize our teachers as much as the students. We’ve created a space where teachers can be at ease and enjoy their work.

DAILY TEACHER SANGHA

Our devoted teachers treasure the Daily Teacher Sangha as a special morning tradition, bringing us closer together as a tight-knit community. It’s a time for heartfelt chats, thoughtful reflections, and recognizing each teacher’s unique contributions to our family. Through these shared moments, we build connections that go beyond the classroom, creating a supportive environment that enhances our students’ learning journeys. Come join us and experience this wonderful unity, where we inspire each other and grow together as a community. At Asoka World School, every morning is filled with warmth, mindfulness, and the joy of learning together.

CONTINUOUS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

At Asoka World School, we believe in constantly improving and evolving, so we make sure our educators have access to the latest teaching methods and educational ideas.

  • Annual Training Requirement: Our teachers are encouraged to complete a minimum of 50 hours of training every year. This commitment reflects our dedication to providing a high-quality learning experience for our students.
  • In-House Training: As part of this initiative, we provide 25 hours of in-house training, tailored to address the specific needs and goals of our teaching faculty. These sessions cover a range of topics, including innovative teaching methodologies, technology integration, and student engagement strategies.
  • CBSE Training Opportunities: In addition to in-house training, our teachers are actively encouraged to attend CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) training programs. This external exposure ensures that our educators stay abreast of national and global educational trends, contributing to a more enriched and diverse learning environment.

We believe we’re like a growing team, learning and evolving together every step of the way. We stay connected to the world around us, always adapting and improving. Just like a caring family, we make sure that everyone – our students, teachers, and staff – receives the utmost care and attention.
