A senior scientist at ISRO, instrumental in the success of several ambitious space projects is a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Canada. Dr Pant was involved in key PSLV Projects and has contributed immensely towards end to end mission planning, mission design, mission integration and analysis for all the launch vehicle programmes of the Indian Space Research Organisation Passionate about instilling scientific temperament and a passion for research in young learners, he dedicates his time and effort towards higher education curricular enrichment.

One of the five finalists for the Indian National Science Academy’s Young Scientist Award (Year 2002) in the research area of Earth and Atmospheric sciences, he has also won Best Thesis Award, Gold medal, Physical Research Laboratory, 1998, Post Doctoral Fellowship, University Of Toronto, Toronto, Canada, Best paper awards from Indian National Council for Union Radio-Scientifique Internationale (INCURSI-2007) and National Space Science Symposium.
