Google for Education
Asoka World School is the first school of its kind to have Google for Education. Having been approved by Google for using its application for education purposes, we at Asoka enhances the remote learning possibility to the maximum extent possible. Google for Education helps our teachers to use broad selection of apps, activities, lesson plans, digital literacy tools, and games to advance learning in the classroom including virtual field trips, lessons on coding, that will help to ease the mode of teaching. Assessment of students can be done in a very transparent way.
Our students get a one on one attention with the Google Classroom feature in Google for Education installed in their devices. We provide login to students through recognized devices of parents, enabling child cyber security and safety. The classwork assigned by teachers are received as notifications in the devices and can be viewed and completed within the due date specified.
The assignments or classwork can include an image, document, pdf or even an online video where the student is given the additional responsibility of their authentic work. The work submitted very much in the deadline is assessed and returned to concerned students with grades as well.
Personal communication with individual students and group chats is also possible within a Google Classroom. Several additional apps can be incorporated into Google for Education to bring the full potential of Google Classroom.
More than one teacher can pitch into a Google Classroom and assign work to the class. Email facilities can be used by parents to communicate with the teachers and keep track of their child’s progress.
